What is DTF?
Direct to Film (DTF) is an innovative technique employed in the production of T-shirts. DTF enables the creation of vibrant, full-color designs that can be seamlessly transferred onto various garments using a heat press. The process of Direct To Film Printing involves the application of specialized ink onto a film designed for textile products.
How does DTF work?
Dtf works by having a specialized printer print ink into a design, spread a polymer powder onto that design, shake the excess off, then having the powder melted onto the ink to bind them together. The print is then aligned and pressed usually onto a cloth product and the film that the design was printed on is peeled off to leave you with the design on said product.
What is Gang Sheet?
A "gang sheet" is a term used to describe the process of printing multiple designs and various colors on a single transfer sheet

How many designs can I put on a DTF Gang Sheet?
You can place as many designs as you want on a DTF Gang Sheet, based on it’s size.
Which file formats can I upload?
We recommend png and tiff files but you can also upload your files as svg, ai, psd. Please make sure that your file quality is around 300 DPI minimum to get best results.
Can Specific Hex Color Codes Be Matched When Ordering DTF Transfers?
Certainly! When uploading your artwork on the DTF Transfers By Size product page, you'll have the option to input your hex code in the "Notes To Designers" text box for our designers to match.
What color mode should I use when preparing my artwork for DTF transfers?
For precise color reproduction, we recommend using the CMYK color mode and saving your artwork files at 300 DPI resolution. Utilizing RGB files could result in color variations between your design and the printed transfer.
